In 5 Days, Facebook Home Downloaded 500 Thousand Times

San Francisco - Facebook Home seems to be quite successful to attract users. Within 5 days after launch, Facebook Home translucent 500 thousand downloads in Google Play.

By downloading it, users can post status updates and newsfeed direct view of the first page of the home screen. Because this application is basically pushing Facebook content to the front page of your phone.

But as quoted from Tech Crunch, Tuesday (23/04/2013), some observers say this achievement is not how to remember there are more than 1 billion Facebook users around the world. Thus, the figure of 500 thousand still looks very small.

Meanwhile, Facebook defend themselves because the application is not currently available in all gadgets. Handsets that are able to taste this application include the Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note II, HTC One X, HTC One X + and HTC First.

Facebook boss Mark Zuckeberg Facebook introduces Home as a special application on the Android homescreen that is able to integrate more deeply. In addition, there are also features Cover feed that contains all the information that goes or posted on Facebook.

In the same presentation, Zuckerberg also announced that the HTC smartphone is their first partner using the Facebook Home.
