Sony invited developers have developed Android via Xperia Z

As a follow up from the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) for Xperia S, which runs from August 2012, Sony is now making a similar program. The difference is, this program is devoted to the development Xperia Z.

As reported by Tech Crunch (23/4), this means that the Xperia Z will follow a variety of other Nexus Android phones in the development of this operating system. That way, the developers who want to be involved in the development of Android can use this waterproof device for their project.

AOSP is held by Sony itself did previously have reaped great results. Recorded, much to the development of the Android OS that result from the use of the Xperia S.

Even so, in the AOSP, Sony certainly does not work with Google. This is because Google will create a similar program with a slightly different format.
