Quoted from Ubergizmo, the CEO revealed that BBM BlackBerry users already have registered approximately 160 million people worldwide. And based on the company's latest financial report, the fuel used by 85 million active users, and 50 million are using a smartphone via Blackberry BBM.
These encouraging results are still expected to increase after launching BBM for BlackBerry smartphones based on Windows Phone. Unmitigated, they expect to receive about 100 million new BBM users after launch in July.
The real concern is the passivity nearly half of BBM users who have registered. Approximately 75 million BBM users may have switched passive social media to another and do not make fuel as a primary means of communication on their handset.
Keep in mind, though recorded encouraging results, it turns out the fuel still far less than some of its competitors. Call it WhatsApp, Facebook's messaging application has recorded the number of users to more than 500 million people. Similarly messaging applications from China, WeChat, which has carved a total of 355 million users with 1 million new users every day.
How BlackBerry, still want to fight again?
